Our club is not unique in that participation in Alpine racing tends to drop off after middle school.  Very encouragingly, the Freeride team has successfully maintained participation through the high school years:

 

How to Keep Informed

Take a few minutes to watch the following video.  It will save you time throughout the season.  While it's probably the most valuable to parents who are relatively new to the program, even seasoned veterans might learn something new.

Another Cool Video Tool: Sprongo

The other day, we featured Coach's Eye, a clever video app for your smart phone.  Another popular video analysis tool is Sprongo.  In addition to slow motion and annotation features, Sprongo offers side-by-side and overlay comparisons (demonstrated in the following video).  In order to share your videos with other BSSEF Alpine team members, create a Sprongo account and join the "BSSEF Alpine" team.
