Our club is not unique in that participation in Alpine racing tends to drop off after middle school. Very encouragingly, the Freeride team has successfully maintained participation through the high school years:
Take a few minutes to watch the following video. It will save you time throughout the season. While it's probably the most valuable to parents who are relatively new to the program, even seasoned veterans might learn something new.
Online program registration will be available within the next several days. We'll make an announcement when the system goes live. The new system offers enhanced convenience and security. We think you are going to like it.
The other day, we featured Coach's Eye, a clever video app for your smart phone. Another popular video analysis tool is Sprongo. In addition to slow motion and annotation features, Sprongo offers side-by-side and overlay comparisons (demonstrated in the following video). In order to share your videos with other BSSEF Alpine team members, create a Sprongo account and join the "BSSEF Alpine" team.
The Freeride and Masters' training schedules are available online here. The YSL, Buddy Werner, and Junior Development training schedules for January will be posted as soon as they are made available by the coaches.
