Consulting Report Recommends Changes to USSA

Over the past year, a team from management consultant McKinsey & Co. (working for free) interviewed athletes, coaches, parents, and USSA divisional, regional, and national employees.  Their objective was to get a better handle on key points of organizational friction.  Download McKinsey's preliminary findings here.

BSSEF Board Meeting Tonight

The BSSEF board will meet in the first floor conference room in the First Security Bank building in Big sky from 5:30PM to 7:00PM this evening.

Second Impact Syndrome

There are some good reasons behind the USSA's increasingly conservative concussion policy.  Here's a recent article on Second Impact Syndrome, when an athlete returns to practice or play after fully recovering from a head injury.

Use the online account management feature to do the following tasks:

• View your family's current account statement

BSSEF Membership Directory

Some members have asked for a directory of BSSEF members for BSSEF members.  Such a directory would include the basics: parents' names, names of kids by program, parents' phone number, and parents' email addresses.  If you want to be exluded from the directory please send us an e-mail before 12/15/12.  We'll publish a directory later this month, which will be distributed via e-mail.
