Order your U.S. Ski Team apparel customized with the BSSEF logo by December 10th.  Hoodies, t-shirts, and caps are available.  Download the brochure here.

Submit your order (items, sizes, and colors) along with full payment to Jeremy Ueland at the BSSEF office by 12/10/08.  Jeremy will forward the entire team's order to the manufacturer.

BSF Ski Swap Next Weekend

Our friends at the Bridger Ski Foundation are holding their annual ski swap next weekend, November 7-9.  Consign your equipment for sale on Friday; the swap is open to the public (non-BSF members) on Saturday and Sunday; and you can pick-up unsold equipment on Sunday afternoon.  The swap is held at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman.

Team Jackets Available in Men's S, L, and XL

For older athletes and adults, the Big Sky Ski Team offers this technical jacket by Spyder.  The all-black team jacket features ThermaWeb insulation, waterproof fabrics, pit zips, a snow cuff, and a detachable hood.  It is perfect for keeping warm in the starting area in January!

The team jacket also features the logos of principal sponsors, whose support is critical to all of the foundation's programs.

As of 10/19/08, our size selection was limited to the following (Men's sizes only): Small (1), Large (1), and X-Large (1).  This jacket is a $200 retail value, and it is offered to you for just $100 (plus shipping, if applicable).

Repair Tip: Fill a Gouge in Your Ski Base

Fixing a gouge in your ski base isn't that hard...if you have the right tools.  Here's a video that shows you how courtesy of Tognar Toolworks:

Nordic Skiers: Update Your Equipment!

Here are two facts:

• Kids outgrow their clothing and equipment.
• The best time to find the right used and new equipment is before the snow flies.

Parents of Nordic team members should contact Tom Owen at Gallatin Alpine Sports in Big Sky in order to get your kids outfitted for the upcoming season.  Be prepared with the following information about your child:

• Age
• Height
• Weight
• Shoe size
• Description of equipment that has been outgrown or is no longer needed

Tom will use the information to a) help you figure out what your child needs and b) match those needs with appropriate used and new clothing and equipment options.
