About BSSEF

The Big Sky Ski Education Foundation (BSSEF) is a non-profit (501(c)(3)), volunteer-based organization founded in 1993 to offer recreational and competitive ski programs for the community's youth.  BSSEF's mission is to provide an opportunity for kids to become great skiers and pursue individual goals while learning sound technical skills, good sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness, and an appreciation for the spirit of skiing and for the mountains themselves.

For the 2009/2010 season, the BSSEF offers Alpine (Youth Ski League, Buddy Werner, Junior Development, and Masters), Big Mountain Freeride, and Nordic programs.  See the Program Menu and Handbook for details.
