This is a pretty cool app.  Taking ski racing videos with your smart phone isn't optimal, but it might be useful for impromptu video analysis.

With tools embedded in the app, you can replay video in slow motion, create voice annotations, and markup the video to highlight key elements. Slick.

Board Meeting Postponed Until 9/10/12

The board meeting originally scheduled for this past Monday has been postponed until Monday, September 10th, at 5:30PM in the first floor conference room of the First Security Bank Building in Big Sky.

Alpine U14 Age Class

A reminder from Northern Division:

Remember, age classes have now changed. Athletes in our division who will be 12 or 13 will be U14's and ONLY need to purchase a YOUTH license. There will be a few opportunities to "ski up" for most U14's, but this license will be sufficient for that. Please consult with your head coach regarding that as the season approaches. Skiing Up might or might not be the right thing for you.

FIS Registration Goes Up After 8/15/12

This is a final reminder for alpine athletes who wish to be inscribed to the Alpine FIS list at the $85 rate. The deadline for registration is August 15, 2012 before midnight MST and applies to renewing FIS athletes and first time FIS registrants. After Aug 15, Alpine FIS registration goes to $155.  This only applies to athletes who are 16 prior to 12/31/12 and who intend to participate in FIS races this season.
