Preliminary 2011-2012 Alpine Race Schedule

The preliminary 2011-2012 Alpine race schedule is available on the Northern Division web site.  In addition to the Thanksgiving race camp, Big Sky Resort and the BSSEF expect to host a Youth Ski League Race, the Super G series for Juniors, and the SG leg of the Western Region J3 Championships (to be co-hosted by Bridger Bowl and the BSF):

Fireworks Sale Starts Thursday

If you haven't already done so, please volunteer to help man the BSSEF's fireworks shack next to the Big Sky Conoco station.  It's easy; it's fun; and it helps raise a significant amount of money to support all of the BSSEF's programs.

Attention Fireworks Sale Volunteers

If you have volunteered to help man the fireworks shack in Big Sky, all you have to do is show up on time at the shack.  Either Jeremy or April Ueland (or, possibly, another paid staffer) will be on hand to show you the ropes.  If something unexpected comes up, please call Jeremy at 406-579-7005.

Melissa Cronin has resigned from the Board of the BSSEF. We appreciate all of her hard work over the years. She has been an important part of the organization, serving as our secretary, volunteering at nearly every event, and writing many of our successful grant proposals. Her family has been active and successful team members for several years. On behalf of the team, parents and the board of directors we want to say thank you Melissa for all you have done. We'll see you on the slopes!

Sign Up to Help with Fireworks Sale in Big Sky

The Big Sky Ski Team sells fireworks each summer at our shack located near the Big Sky Conoco station.  It's a major fundraiser that helps to support all of the BSSEF's programs.  The more hours the shack is manned and open, the more money we raise.  That's where you come in.  We need your help in the afternoons (12:00 noon to 4:00PM) and evenings (4:00PM to 8:00PM) from June 24th through July 5th.  Click on the VolunteerSpot button above to check the schedule and volunteer.
