It's time for our BIG raffle! Last year, we raised over $3,200 in just two weeks. This year, our goal is $6,000 in four weeks.
Lance Trebesch has volunteered to help Jeremy Ueland organize and run this year's BSSEF raffle. If you have any questions, contact Lance by e-mail or phone (406-579-9421). You can return raffle ticket stubs (with the name and e-mail of the buyer) and money to either Lance or Jeremy.
This year's raffle prizes are:
- A 2010-2011 Big Sky Resort season pass
- A Trek Cruiseliner bicycle
As you may remember, we had a competition for the most raffle tickets sold last year. Alexa Coyle raised the most money, for which she received a $200 gift certificate from Lone Mountain Sports. Here are the prizes for the top raffle ticket sellers this year:
- 1st place: a $250 gift certificate from Lone Mountain Sports
- 2nd place: a $150 gift certificate from Lone Mountain Sports
- 3rd place: a $75 gift certificate from Lone Mountain Sports
We will sell raffle tickets in books of five (5) for $5.00 $10.00. We strongly encourage everyone to sell the books of five rather than individual tickets, as this will raise more money. Lance will be distributing ticket books this Saturday morning, February 27th. Tickets will also be sold through selected retail outlets in Big Sky.
We will track our fundraising efforts through a new website called Raffle Tracker. In Raffle Tracker, you will have an account through your e-mail. You can track your sales, see the top sellers, and track our overall progress toward our fundraising goal. We will also be publishing raffle updates on Raffle Tracker. Later today, you will receive an e-mail from Raffle Tracker with your username and temporary password.
Each year, our annual raffle raises a significant amount of money for the BSSEF and all of its programs. Let's get out there and beat our 2009 record!
