Previously, we reported that BSSEF's Erin Kempt won the 11-14 girls class at the inaugural Targhee Tee-Off. At left is a shot of Erin on the podium. Below is a video snapshot of the finals.

Dane Matthew Ueland ( 6 lbs 7 oz, 19 inches) came into the world yesterday. Our newest J7.
BSSEF is helping out with the Skiing with the Eagles dual giant slalom race this Saturday, March 29th, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Coach Jeremy Ueland asks that all members of the Buddy Werner/Junior Development team help out with the race. In the afternoon, the Big Sky team will have the chance to race each other on the course!
New BSSEF T-shirts and sweatshirts may be purchased at Lone Mountain Sports in the Mountain Village at Big Sky Resort.

Kris Shampeny placed 32nd in the downhill at the U.S. Nationals at Sugerloaf, Maine. Keely Kelleher placed 7th in the women's DH race.
Keely Kelleher raced to a third place finish in the combined at the U.S. Nationals yesterday. Kris Shampeny finished 18th in the men's race.
Earlier this month, the Northern Division Masters held their championships. When the dust settled, BSSEF's Fran Noel walked away with the Sotheby Cup, which is awarded to racer in the division with the most overall points, regardless of age class.
Fran got his name on the cup, but Percy walked away with one sweet looking speed suit.
The J3 Junior Olympics wrapped up yesterday at Bogus Basin. Madison Bildahl placed 56th in the GS, and Graham Foster finished 38th in the men's slalom. In addition, the correct results from the men's Super-G on Saturday have been posted; Graham took 44th.
BSSEF alumnus Andrew Kircher matched his GS win on Sunday with a first place finish in the slalom yesterday. Rounding out a very successful weekend was a 2nd place finish in the Super-G on Saturday.
